| THRIP PREDATOR (AMBLYSEIUS CUCUMERIS) MITES Highly Recommended for Greenhouses These predatory mites should be introduced preventatively, before thrips are present. They actively search for their prey, thrip eggs and larvae. They can move over considerable distances and may destroy 2-3 larvae a day. Females lay 2-3 eggs per day. When thrips aren't present, they can survive on pollen, but prefer humidity of 65% or better. General use rate is 25-250 + per plant. For monitoring and trapping thrips, use Blue Sticky Traps (P130) |
