WHITEFLY PARASITE, (Encarsia formosa), is a tiny predator that controls whiteflies at temperatures above 75 F. Introduce when the first whiteflies are observed. Best to use whitefly traps to monitor pests and to help trap out many of the reproducing adults. Once properly introduced, they are very effective and able to control the whitefly during the entire growing season. General release rate is 2 per square foot.
WHITEFLY PREDATOR, (Eretomocerus), controls greenhouse whitefly and various other whitefly species including the silverleaf and sweet potato whitefly. This variety of predator is relatively heat resistant and drought tolerant.
