| GNATS and THRIP control (HYPOASIS MITES ) Introduce Prior to Problems HYPOASIS MITE predatory mite is a soil dweller. The nymphs and adults feed on the larvae of the Sciarids, Fungus Gnats, Flower Thrips, etc. It prefers small larvae. Each Hypoasis can consume up to 6 small larvae a day. It also can survive on other small larvae such as the springtail and thrips pupae. With sufficient food, each female can lay up to 3 eggs. This beneficial mite can live up to 7 weeks without food.
