| LADYBUGS (HIPPODAMIA CONVERGENS) A Must for Every Garden LADYBUGS are the best known beneficials. They are regarded by many as a sign of general well-being in the insect community. Ladybugs are most successful at aphid control, but both the adult and larval stage will feed on insects that are not too hard-shelled, too fast, or too large, such as mites, mealybugs, etc. They can be stored in the refrigerator for 1-3 months. Remove from refrigerator every week and spray ladybugs with a light mist of water. Place ladybugs out of direct sunlight for 1 hour to allow them to drink the water. Place in the warmest part of the refrigerator. DO NOT FREEZE. Release a few every week for better and more continuous control. Call for availability. Shipping included for In-Store Pickups. Shipping during cool weather via UPS 2nd Day Air. For hot weather via UPS Next Day. Call for Best Rates. |
