Research has found that foliar applications of ascorbic acid can significantly reduce infestations of various beetles, aphids, leafrollers, etc., as well as help guard against mildews and molds. Application rate for gardens is 1 tablespoon per gallon. For larger areas, use approximately 2-12 oz per acre. Frequent, light applications provide best results.
