This material is very fine, 98% pure, untreated worm castings. Unlike worm bedding, which you may find marketed as castings, this is the real stuff. Worm castings greatly improve soil structure, are rich in beneficial microbes, and contain small amounts of nutrients and minerals. Use it to buffer fertilizers, help stabilize soil pH and hold water. Use 1-3 tablespoons per gallon of soil.
