ROOTER'S MYCORRHIZAE is a blend of 8 strains of mycorrhizae. Mycorrhizal fungi attach to plant roots increasing nutrient uptake, root growth and reducing plant stress. Trials have shown you can greatly decrease the quantities of fertilizer when mycorrhizae are present. It has been noted that in soils without mycorrhizae, as much as 1200 lbs of phosphorous would have to be added to get the same benefits as soils with the fungus present. It can reduce nitrogen fertilization by as much as 300% . Recommended for gardens, shrubs, trees and lawns. Aids most plants except orchids and conifers. Note: Chemical fertilizers may inhibit the performance of these beneficial fungi. For superior results, follow with an application of Earth Juice Grow.
Use rates ;
Soil and Growing media: mix 1 tsp per gallon of soil or media.
Transplants: add 1/2 tsp per hole.
Established plants: make 1- 4 holes around plants and trees, add 1 tsp per hole. New sod: Just prior to laying the sod broadcast 1 lb per 1000 sq ft.
Established lawns: broadcast 1 lb per 1000 sq ft and irrigate.
Hydroponics: Use 1 tsp (5 ml) per gal (4 L) solution. Place material in a fine plastic netting or a closed plastic container with several pin size role on both ends. Do not punch holes on the bottom side. Discard the old material and change/ recharge with new material every 2-4 weeks.
